The Bygones

While "The Bygones" is a SFW visual novel, it does contain struggles with mental health including scenes mentioning self-harm, substance abuse, disintegrating relationships, homophobia (including the use of slurs), and death.

STORY
It's the year 1992. Grunge and Britpop are in full-swing, with a new band popping up every month. Unfortunately, as an employee at a record store, the genres are wearing down on Everett. One day, while busking after work, he meets a charming British man: Curtis Travers. A small CD full of gothic post-punk demos he made seals their fate and The Bygones is formed.

"The Bygones" is a short drama visual novel where you view the past through the eyes of Everett Summers, the band's lead guitarist. It was made for the 2025 NovemBuck Game Jam and is completed at the time of release.
